Very cool Mid-Century Men's Vintage Silver Tone Metal Cufflink Set with inset silver coins from Guadeloupe. Guadeloupe is an overseas department and region of France in the Caribbean. It consists of six inhabited islands—Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre, Marie-Galante, La Désirade, and two Îles des Saintes—as well as many uninhabited islands and outcroppings. This novel set consists of 2 silver tone metal cufflinks on which are set actual coins with native islander bust and the writing "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAIS - GUADELOUPE ET DEPENDANCES". A NICE vintage cufflink set in excellent vintage condition. The cufflinks measure 7/8" across. A neat set for the vintage gentleman!
